Each carved burl is a unique piece.  When carving, we strive to follow the naturally grown exterior form to achieve a balance between the natural exterior and our smooth carved interior.   

17L x 9W x 6H

We buried this burl in the ground under wood shavings for 6 months, to age and darken.  Once aged to our satisfaction, we carve, dry, sand and finished the burl over the course of a month.
